Post here if you're on a train heading to or from, or even just shunting around, the station.

*Ali climbs in to a grime covered gronk and starts shunting some wagons around the yard, to test the new wires Jamie put into the points system after yobs cut them*

Electricfox: Now then Ali! Take it steady.

*Ali manuneves over the first set of points, there is a ping, and the gronk derails onto its side*

Electricfox: DAM! ALI? ARE YOU OK

*Ali scrambles out the 08 with a cut down his face*

Electricfox: Sorry Ali! That looks nasty! Come up hear and i'll get it cleaned up.

*Ali staggers off, looking somewhat annoyed*

*Charlie is in a Class 87 hauling some empty MK3's out of Scratchwood's bay platform towards the TMD.*

Electricfox: "Train 0Z39. Please move to the loop."
Charlie: Righto.
Electricfox "Is that you Charlie?"
Charlie: Yes. How di dyou know?
Electricfox: "The driver sounded like you."
Charlie: Okay.

*Charlie rolls into the loop. A HST whizzes past, passing by in a blur of red and black on a CrossCountry express.*

Charlie: Blooming 'eck, those trains fly past at ya.
*The signal changes as the poiints change towards the Midland Mainline. Soon, the 87 clatters over the points towards Carl's Yard.*

Carl: Ah, the new train.
Charlie (poking head out of window): How much of ya paperwork mountain is gone?
Carl: What are you doing here?!
Charlie: Taking this train.
*The 87 soon slowly clatters into the sidings. Charlie jumps off and awaits for a train heading back to Junction station*

Tim: Welcome aboard this non-stop express to Moscow. Maximum speed will be about.....90mph, and average flying height about 2,000ft. There will be an on board buffet service, operated by me when I put the train on auto-drive. Examples of our fine cuisine include Balowski - sorry, baloney sandwichs, and other delicacies such as pie and mash. The weather in Russia is cold, as usual, so don't forget a woolly hat when you alight.

*sticks the train on auto-drive and prepares the food trolley*

*Tim approaches Scratchwood South Junction in a Virgin Pendolino ECS move, suddenly he notices the points set against him just ahead, then he looks down at the speedometer which reads 100mph.*

Tim: "AAAAGH!!"

*Tim hits the emergancy switch on the door and jumps out just before the Pendolino hits the 40 mph limited points at 100mph.*

*Somewhere in southern England.*

*Electricfox climbs back up onto the footplate.*

Keab: "Where'd you go?"
Electricfox: "Get some grub from the guard, he has a little stash of sausages, bacon and egg."
Keab: "What are we going to do with them? It's not as if we have a cooker on this? Do we?"
Electricfox: "We do..."

*Keab looks confused, Electricfox simply points at the roaring fire.*

Keab: "You're kidding..."
Electricfox: "Nope...look, I'll start us up, you keep an eye on that signal."

*Electricfox blasts the coal dust off the shovel with some heated steam, then plonks a small slab of butter on the shovel before placing it just inside the firebox, when the butter melts he puts the sausages on the shovel and puts it back in the fire...soon the sausages begin to sizzle.*

Keab: "Signal's off!"
Electricfox: "Right, you come and get this, sausages are almost done, do the bacon next, then the eggs."
Keab: "Righto!"

*Electricfox gets back on the controls, and releases the brakes before pulling hard on the regulator, there's a small bit of wheelslip and then the 9F takes the strain and pulls away.*

Cricklewood Station in North London...

*86250 The Glasgow Herald crosses over the junction between the fast and slow lines on a train carying a furniture truck with a broken satellite and 14 steel wagons on it's way to Stratford Freight Yards in East London. Charlie sits in the loco, aware a red is coming up.*

Charlie: Contact Cricklewood PSB.
*Charlie presses AudioWave25 as a 458 converted for Thameslink passes by on a Sutton - Luton service.*
Charlie: Cricklewood PSB, this is 4E98.
Cricklewood PSB: Proceed.
Charlie: I would like to request permission to pass signal CC023 to access North Lonfon Line.
Cricklewood PSB: Negative, 4E98. You will be allowed to proceed when the up-ahead Thameslink train passes the junction.
Charlie: Fine then.

*The locomotvie slows to a standstill. Charlie takes out the spicy chicken sandwich in his box and begins to eat it as he waits for signal CC023 to change to green. After 2 minutes of waiting, it changes to a double yellow as the 8 car 319 unit leaves the platform.*
Charlie: Phew.
*86250 proceeds past the signal and then through West Hampstead Interchange. Soon comes West Hampstead Junction which links to the North London Line before heading onto the route through the NLL line.*

Charlie: Well, it's time to proceed onto the next signallers.
*The train passes a 313 on it's way from North Woolwich to Richmond.*
Charlie: I still wonder why North Woolwich is still served seeing as the DLR is heading towards it.
*The 86 passes West Hampstead station on the North London Line, where it begins a journey of riding the yellows all the way to Stratford.*
Charlie: I still wonder why I get slotted in behind a stopper.

*A chorus of laughter echoes through the trainshed*
Chris: 'dhell was that?
*Chris walks round the front of a Western to see a group of chavs spraying a Peak*
Chav 1: Orrrrrr mayut dunt dis look mint!
Chav 2: Narrrrr man looks liyk ya burd
Chav 1: K*** ED WAT YA SAYIN YU!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
*Chris reaches into his pocket and presses a button. 2 Cybermen appear beside Chris*
Cyberman 1: YES CONTROLLER?
Chris: See them lot there?
Cyberman 1: YES
Chris: Get them to clean the Peak then throw them in the furnace.
Cyberman2: WHAT IF THEY RETALIATE
Chris: Tell them you'll pay them a fiver to clean the loco.
Cybermen: YES CONTROLLER

Dhall: *Over the train's PA* Last stop, Scratchwood Junction. This train will terminate here and will stay on the platform for ten minutes before departing for Birmingham New Street.

*Dhall then puts the PA radio away and starts to slow the train down on approach to Platform 5*
