*The DMU scatters over the points onto the up slow of the West Coast Main Line at Wolverton, a heard of 2000 Toclafane in pursuit*

Matt: Okay, offloading out in Wolverton Yard's a bad idea.
Electricfox (over the comm): Yeah... I'll think we'll proceed towards London.
Charlie: You can't go to London... the Toclafane have occupied the city.
Matt: I think it's more of a strategic location.
Electricfox (over the comm): Since when did I say London? We're going over the Oxford-Cambridge line all the way to Oxford.
Matt: Yeah.. I think that would be a better option.
*Balowski comes out from under a table*
Balowski: Komrades, ze Amerikan spheres are invading. Ze world is being levelled!
Matt: Where any of those pictures of any American cities?
Balowski: Da, komrade. The army saw ze Toclafane attacks in New Vork.
Charlie: So you can now say the Americans have nothing to do with this?
Balowski: Who's to say komrade? Maybe ze Amerikans are taking no prisoners in the hunt against ze communists?

*The DMU heads through Wolverton station; Derek exterminating as many spheres as he can but there are still some in pursuit*

Charlie: Are we doomed?
Matt: Unless we keep up this.
*An explosion can be heard as the 3rd carriage at the rear explodes*
Matt: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?
Electricfox (over the comm): Um... guys? The Toclafane have blown up a petrol tank in the back carriage. We'll have to stop at the next station.
Tim: To a shower of Toclafane fire? No chance...
Matt: What choice do we have?
*Before long, there is a second explosion in the rear carriage. Derek retreats out the in-train doors using new compactation technology from the failed Slitheen invasion*

Derek: A-LERT! A-LERT! THE CA-RRIAGE HAS BEEN COM-PLET-LEY DE-STROYED!
Charlie: We know, we know...

*The train slows into Milton Keynes Central station, 3rd carriage on fire. Derek rushes back with the extinguisher settings on his gun*
Derek: PRE-CI-PI-TATE! PRE-CI-PI-TATE!
Matt: Well, at least it's finally proves it's usefulness...
Tim: Let me get this straight... you converted the Dalek's ray gun to fire extinguishing equipment?
Matt: Indeed.
Charlie: Like it?
Tim: Actually, yeah. It is kinda cool.
*The fire goes, and the trains proceeds south, the Toclafane which previously were in surveyance follow suit*

Electricfox: (Over PA) I agree! I'll keep her going - if we hit Harrow and Wealdstone without being spotted, we can count ourselves lucky!

Later, in Tring Cutting...

Charlie: Do you have a plan in dealing with the Toclafane?
Matt: No. The only plans involve Derek giving us covering fire.
Derek: WELL WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO? YOU HU-MANS ARE USE-LESS WHEN DEA-LING WITH THE BI-GGER PIC-TURE!
Charlie: You mean like the Daleks do after the Doctor defeats their master plans?
Derek: DON'T PA-TRO-NISE ME!
*The brakes on the train screech as the DMU slows to a halt just north of Tring*

Tim: Why have we stopped?
Charlie: I have no idea...
Electricfox (on communication): Guys, the Toclafane took out an express train down the line. We have to manually change the points to get around it.
Matt: Manually change the points?
Electricfox (on communication): Sorry.
Matt: Are you serious?
Electricfox: Yup.
*Charlie and Tim scamper out the carriage and head for the points. At the other end of Tring station, a Pendolino can be seen gently smouldering, the front carriage now a bunch of ashes*

Charlie: There a lever by this set?
Tim: Hold on, so much dust...
*Tim brushes the dust of the points set*
Tim: Ah, yes. There it is.
Charlie: Where's it set to?
Tim: Our line, where the 390 is currently gently smouldering.
Charlie: Set for the up slow, okay?
Tim: It's just a bit difficult, I think it's... locked.
*After several pulls, the points are set towards the up slow line, which isn't occupied by ashes*

Electricfox: You set those points yet?
Charlie: Yeah.
Electricfox: Get back in the coach before the Toclafane see ya.
Tim: Will do.
*Charlie and Tim head back into the carriage. The DMU clatters over the points and onto the up slow before heading through Tring station and passing the Pendolino wreckage*
Matt: Blooming hell. Was that... a train?
Derek: SCANS SHOW THE TRAIN WAS FOR-MING AN EMP-TY STOCK MOVE-MENT!
Matt: I suppose so.
*The DMU proceeds down the WCML towards Berkhamstead*

*Suddenly, all the Toclafane vanish*

Mattaf: What the hell?!? What happened?!?

Electricfox: Dunno... looks like time reversed itself... so the Toclafane never invaded...

Charlie: Well that's a really bad cop out...

Mattaf: Yeah... well, let's go home then...

*The DMU stops, and reverses onto the other line, heading back to Scratchwood.*

Mattaf: HEY! I never did get my groceries!

Matt: Oh what? There was a TESCO over there...
Tim: You mean one that got closed in that scare.
Matt: Perhaps.
Electricfox (over comm): Guys, we'll be stopping at Tring for Matt to get his groceries.
Charlie: But that's miles away from the centre!
Electricfox (over comm): *sigh* Fine. Hold on!
*The 115 screeches to a hault on the down slow line, delaying some following 321 commuters*
Matt: You sure there's any wisdom in this?
*The 115 soon reverses into a construction siding at the east end of Berkhamstead station, while an 87/2 screams through*
Matt: Riiighttt.... be back in a minute. Come on Derek.
Derek: I O-BEY!

One painful hour and 30 agonising minutes later...
*Matt boards the burnt out relic at the rear. Derek soon levitates into the widened (by force) carriage doors*
Charlie: You sure theres any wisdom by frozen food for a one hour journey.
Matt: I've got this...
*Matt produces a coolbox and mini-fridge bought from an electrical shop*
Matt:... a coolbox and mini-fridge to keep it all cold.
Tim: How do you plan to keep the fridge running?
Derek: I HAVE AN MO-BILE ELEC-TRI-CAL U-NIT IN THE BAG!
Matt: Plug the fridge into that and bobs your uncle.
Charlie: But I don't have a...
Matt: Not literally!
Derek: ANY-WAY, THANK GOD THE TRAIN DIDN'T LEAVE BE-FOR WE RE-TURNED!
Tim: After an hour, we were thinking of doing so... then we saw you coming out the TESCO; trolley full of varied stuff.
Matt: What?
*The 115 follows a Class 90 + MK2 'Cobbler' north-west up the WCML*

Balowski: "Here we Comrades, safe and sound in your Westyminster!"
Matt: "Two things...one...let's agree NEVER to do that again..."
Charlie: "Agreed."
Derek: "AGREED!"
Electricfox: "Oh yeah...hey...where's Ali?"
Charlie: "I think he's throwing up in the bushes over there."
Matt: "And TWO, where the hell are we? This isn't Westminster! It's full of water, Balowski, did you land us in the Thames?!"
Balowski: "Nyet Comrade, I followed zis map!"
Electricfox: "Balowski...this is a doodle on the back of a beermat..."
Balowski: "Aha! That is a clever disguise comrade! To fool the American spies!"
Electricfox: "Ok...as soon as we find another helicopter I'm going back...you've just taken us from one pond to another."
Ali: *returning from the bushes* "Hey guys...there's a sign over there, says Lloyd Park Tram stop..."
Matt: "Tram?!"
Electricfox: "Balowski you twit, this is Croydon!!"
Balowski: "Croydon...is in London, yes?"
Matt: "Yes but it's not Westminster!!"
Tim: "And it's underwater!"
*All pause and look at Tim*
Tim: "What?"
Matt: "Where did you come from?"
Tim: "I work with you guys!"
*Matt looks at Electricfox*
Electricfox: "Don't look at me, I work up in the 'box."
Ali: "Same here."
*Matt looks at Charlie.*
Charlie: "Yeah, you did employ him."
Matt: "But...that means I have to pay him!"
Derek: "YOU NEVER PAY ME!!"
Matt: "But...but..."
Electricfox: "Ok...Charlie...find Matt somewhere to sit down, I think he's going into financial shock...Ali, you and me had better go and see if there's an end to this lake...Balowski, Derek...erm...stay here and try not to blow something up..."
Balowski: "Blow something up?! Why Comrade? Whatever do you mean?"
*Behind them, the helicopter suddenly bursts into flame.*
Electricfox: "...you'll work it out..."

*While Matt sits on a bench worrying about payroll, Charlie gets Balowski to stay with Matt and can then be seen running north alongside Croydon Lakes, the last Matt can see is Charlie's right shoe. As Jamie and Ali approach Croydon Town centre, they see Charlie running up alongside*

Electricfox: What are you doing here?
Charlie: Do you really think I could stay and comfort Matt over money issues without him asking me to bankroll him?
Electricfox: Perhaps. But that still doesn't explain why you abandoned him.
Charlie: Oh, I'm fine and I needed to make a stop over in the City anyway.
Ali: Why the City?
Charlie: No reason...
*The gang walk up to a bank which overlooks East Croydon which is dry and has trains running*
Ali: Well, this station seems fine...
East Croydon PA: The train approaching Platform 1 is the 1534 Southern service to London Victoria. Calling at Selhurst, Streatham Common, Wandwsorth Common, Battersea Park and London Victoria. Due to flooding, services are not running between South Croydon, Oxted and Purley.
Charlie: Should we board?
Electricfox: Might as well.
*The gang head down the bank, through the wet streets and into the station, boarding the 377 for the hop into Victoria*

Charlie: "Where are you going?"
Electricfox: "Changing trains, going to head out to the DLR."
Ali: "Why?"
Electricfox: "The DLR goes to the airport...and round the docklands."
Ali: "Oh..."
*Pause*
Ali: "I still don't understand..."
Electricfox: "It doesn't matter, I'll meet you guys later."
Charlie: "But..."

*Electricfox gets off the train and waits at Battersea Park station.*

Ali: Where's he going?
Charlie: Train to Lewisham I think.
Ali: What's so important about Lewisham?
Charlie: He said he was getting a DLR to London City Airport.
Ali: How can you be certain he said City Airport?
Charlie: Do you know any other airport in the Docklands?
Ali: No, not really but what if he was bluffing?
Charlie: Good point. But he's up to something.
Ali: And haven't you got an appointment in the City?
Charlie: Ah, that's not important.
*Electricfox walks towards Clapham High Street station*
Charlie: Maybe he's getting a Lewisham train from there?
Ali: Indeed.
*Electricfox walks onto the platform at Clapham High Street station and waits for the train to Lewisham*

PA: "Platform two for the 16:15 Southern Railway service to London Bridge, calling at Clapham Junction, Balham, Streatham Hill, West Norwood, Crystal Palace, Sydenham, Brockley, New Cross Gate, and London Bridge. Platform two for the 16:15 Southern Railway service to London Bridge."

*A blue grey 8CIG rattles in and draws to a halt.*

Electricfox: "This must be mine...been a while since I've been on one of these old girls."

*The blue grey 8CIG rattles out of Battersea Park and heads for London Bridge.*

*At New Cross Gate Electricfox leaves the train and crosses over to the East London Line where he boards a train to Shadwell, where he then changes onto the Docklands Light Railway to London City Airport.*

Electricfox: "Finally...I'd forgotten how tiring travelling across London is..."

*Walks through LCA customs and out onto the runway, using his pass to get through security. Outside an airport worker is waiting.*

Worker: "You Electricfox?"
Electricfox: "Yup."
Worker: "Alright, it's parked up over there."

Electricfox: "Time to get back to Scratchwood."

Ali: He could be anywhere across London.
*A helicopter passes over Clapham Junction, painted with Electricfox's signature*
Charlie: That's him, but where's he going?
Ali: Back to Scratchwood probably.
Charlie: Should we go back to Croydon?
Ali: Yea, it's probably best.
*Charlie and Ali get into a train for London Bridge, then for a consequent train onto East Croydon*

Charlie: How crazy d'ya think Matt is Ali?
Ali: Proably,
*Matt hears this and confronts them*
Matt: For your information, I'm not going mad and you're providing a quarter of the payroll, Charlie.
Charlie: Fine, I'll just provide your wages, Tim's and the protection payments to Balowski.
Matt: Protection payments?
Balowski: I get some monies to protect your stacion, komirades.
Matt: How much exactly?
Balowski: 1 English pound an hour komrade.
Matt: Well, I get a £5 an hour, Charlie gets £1.50 an hour, Jamie gets the same, Ali gets £1.05 an hour, so do Carl and Chris, and Tim gets 75p an hour.
Tim: OI!
Charlie: Anyway, me bankrolling part of the payroll isn't important. What is is that we get back to Scratchwood.
Matt: Yeah... *Matt smirks under his breath as Charlie has to pay his £6K a year wage*
Charlie: What was that?
Matt: Nothing, nothing... so, what did you find out?
Ali: That the flood waters in Victoria receded and we know the tracks to Scratchwood via the WCML/GCML aren't closed, so we could go that way...
Matt: Let's get to East Croydon then...
*The gang head over to the station to catch a train, conviently finding out that the there is a train via Scratchwood arriving*

Matt: "My money!! You owe me ten pounds!!"
Electricfox: "Yes...yes...whatever, now just climb up the rope ladder."
