*Keab42 and Electricfox are huddled over a laptop*

Keab42: So there's no mention of the incident anywhere on the internet.

Electricfox: Not even on the conspiracy theory boards.

Keab: Weird, they usually pick up on what's really happening.

Electricfox: Indeed. Somebody has gone to great lengths to cover this up.

Keab: Very much so. I guess we'll never know whether they were stopped or not.

Electricfox: I guess so. Though is it just me or are there less children around these days?

Keab: I hadn't noticed, but it could just be the Cyberman security forces.

Electricfox: I guess so. So now what?

Keab: Well I think I've improved the engines on my experimental train if you're interested...

Electricfox: OUT!

*Keab42 is thrown from the signalbox, he bounces once nearly landing on Ali*

*The man disguised as a bin runs past the signalbox dodging bullets*

Electricfox: "Worst Halloween costume ever!!"

*He slides the signalbox window shut again and hangs up his AK-47, then he looks at the calender.*

Electricfox: "Oh...wait...today is Monday which means Halloween was...oops. Ah well."

*He brushes dust off the instruments*

Electricfox: "Where the hell is Ali? Skiving little bugger, just wait until I find him, he'll be scrubbing this 'box for weeks!"

*Electricfox is standing by the levers reading the latest copy of Model Rail, he looks up and sees the Class 40 sitting outside Keabs lab.*

Electricfox: "Well...what's he doing there...he's got a clear road through!"

*He sets the signal to on and then off again. The Class 40 refuses to move.*

Electricfox: "What the hell?"

*He pulls out a spanner and some masking tape from the tool cupboard and heads out of the 'box.*

*Electricfox runs back into the signalbox, throws the tool kit on his bed and grabs the AK47 out of the tool cupboard.*

Electricfox: "This cash for bangers scheme is getting out of hand!!"

*He switches the safety off, loads the first round and runs out of the 'box again.*

*Electricfox returns to the signalbox and puts the AK47 back in the tool cupboard before putting the signals down behind the Class 40 which has already thundered past under the 'box and through the station.*

Electricfox: "What on earth is he doing?"

*He looks out of the signalbox at the strange structure next to Keabs lab.*

Charlie: What's going on? I heard there was trouble afoot.
Electricfox: Listen to this.

*Electricfox plays a recorded version of the threat.*

Charlie: ¡MIERDA!
Electricfox: Yes, I couldn't have put it better myself.
Charlie: Do we know where Balowski even is? We have 3 hours before half of Southern England becomes radioactive!
Electricfox: No! I haven't seen him in a long long time. Where the hell could he be?

Electricfox: "I've just heard off the radio, the Royal Navy has found a Russian submarine in the channel, they're bringing it into Portsmouth!"
Charlie: "That must be him! Get to Portsmouth quickly!"
Electricfox: "But how?"
Charlie: "Take a plane from the airport!"
Electricfox: "Good idea!!"

*He rushes out of the signalbox to find Domino and Keab whilst Charlie looks around the signalbox, he tries to type someting on the laptop but receives an electric shock so he leaves in disgust.*

*Electricfox is typing on his laptop when there's a large explosion, the power goes out and the windows shatter.*

Electricfox: "Ah...that'll be Keabs lab again..."

*He looks at the laptop which is streaming the Obama broadcast just in time to see him transform into the Master.*

Electricfox: "....what the..."

*He switches channels, and every live channel is now occupied by the same man in different outfits.*

Electricfox: "Oh Christ..."

*He slaps the laptop lid down and runs out of the 'box.*

*Electricfox climbs up the signalbox steps carefully with a coal bucket full of coal in his right hand, he gets to the top, opens the door and then shuts it behind him.*

Electricfox: "Bloody weather. Not much running today."

*He opens the stove and shovels some more coal onto it and then puts the kettle on to boil.*

Electricfox: "Still, makes my life a bit easier...but not much warmer..."

*Electricfox hangs his washing up to dry by the stove on lines suspended from the ceiling, the radio is playing the latest dire travel updates and snow news in the background, the stove is roaring nicely and the signalbox is actually quite cosy.*

*The telephone rings*

Electricfox: *Answers* "Hello, Scratchwood Junction 'box, yes, speaking...erm...do I have to? Right...I see...needs must, eh? Right...ok...right...yes...bye."

*He puts the phone down*

Electricfox: "Craap..."

*He dampens the stove down to its lowest setting and then puts on multiple layers of clothing and a Russian Ushanka before wrestling with the door which has frozen shut. Eventually he opens it and walks out.*

*Electricfox is outside cleaning the windows of the 'box when the TARDIS flies past overhead, knocking him off his perch on the gantry and leaving him dangling over the track, he manages to pull himself up again when the blast from Keabs lab knocks him off again onto the arm of a somersault semaphore signal.*

Electricfox: "Ah...now just to swing myself up and..."

*A bell chimes in the signalbox, there is a responding clunk of levers being moved around.*

Electricfox: "Oh crap...the 14:28..."

*The signal drops down as the sound of a steam locomotive working hard is heard. Electricfox grips onto the signal arm for dear life but slowly slides down it, he is engulfed in a cloud of steam and smoke as the engine passes underneath and then finally loses his grip and falls down through the roof of a carriage below.*

News Reporters: "With the arrival of multi-coloured Daleks in Scratchwood it appears the old versions are running away. A dark green Dalek in the design we've grown accustomed to has reportedly 'appeared out of thin air' this morning at the CN Tower in Toronto."
Electricfox: What? Well... least the Mighty Morfin' Power Daleks haven't been exterminating him.
Drone Dalek (from cafe): RA-CIST BAS-TARD!
Electricfox: Yeah yeah whatever. Should I mount a rescue mission to Toronto or shall I just let the Canadian Torchwood return him to the UK?
News Reporters: "And reports are coming in that the volcanic ash cloud that has kept European airspace closed is now spreading towards the Eastern Seaboard of the United States, resulting in further delays and cancellations of trans-atlantic flights."
Electricfox: ... I guess that answers my question.

*Electricfox grabs a black jacket and hat, and heads out towards the station.*
