The station platforms, all seven of them! Walk around here to get abused by Derek, our resident security guard/cleaner Dalek, oh, and to catch a train.

*An Intercity 225 slows into Platform 5 on it's way from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh. Out of the last MK4 trailer steps Charlie*

Charlie: Right back in... *reading strange sign*... Trainmad's Gay Bar... ?
Derek: THE SIGN-AGE IS IN-COR-RECT!
Charlie: Who put it there?
Derek: I DON'T KNOW BUT WHO-EVER DID WILL BE EX-TER-MIN-ATED!
Charlie: Like you usually say. I know I'm in Scratchwood... the familiar skyline is right behind.
Derek: A-FIR-MA-TIVE!

*Walks off to the cafe wondering what's going on*

*emerges from the station cafe and stares at the dalek*

Tim: Erm, hello.......
Derek: HEL-LO
Tim: When is the next train to Birmingham New Street?
Derek: WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO TO BIR-MING-HAM?
Tim: Don't ask silly questions
Derek: DO NOT BE-LIT-TLE ME! I HAVE FEEL-INGS TOO!

*ducks and runs*

*Walks onto the platform and spots Tim on a bench, waiting for the 1845 train to Birmingham New Street*

Charlie: I'm sorry, can I help you?
Tim: Uh... no. I'm just passing through when my train broke down on the bank just south of the station.
Charlie: Ah yes. My last call of the day. Why are you holding our 'Help Wanted' sign?
Tim: I.. don't know.
Charlie: Cafe's place to go if you want a job... the stationmaster is cowering in that corner just over there.
*Tim gets up and walks down Platform 2, while Charlie wonders why he is there*

*The 115 arrives into Platform 2 in a heavy shower of rain that has caused a hole in the roof*
Matt: Uh-oh...
Charlie: What?
Matt: The rain's caused cracks in the roof...
Tim: Oh dear...
Charlie: Then what do we do when the rain crawls to an end?
Derek: I WILL GA-THER THE ROOF FIX-ING MA-TERI-ALS!
Matt: You sure they sell them for historic roofs?
*The door is opened and the staff get drenched*
Matt: AARGH! Is there any day in the summer that's actually going to be sunny?
Charlie: No.

*walks down the platform, which is covered in dust and weeds.*

*'Dead London' starts playing in the background.*

Electricfox: "Wow...no trains...no people...it's deserted...I don't think I've ever seen the place so quiet."

*Electricfox picks up a broom and starts sweeping the platform.*

Electricfox: "Might as well do this if Derek's not going to...wonder if there was a holiday that no-one told me about....or if Cybermunch has captured them all again...."

*Opens trap door under Platform 4*

Charlie: I'm not on holiday, just not well...

*Slams trap door shut*

*Shunts a gronk with some stock into Platform 3 where Elctricfox is sweeping*

Chris: *Nods head* Reet Fox.
Electricfox: Ello. Have you been capturing people again Chris?
Chris *Shakes head* why would i do that!? *Looks nervous*
Electricfox: Ill let you off on this one. *Continues to sweep*

*Chris pulls the stock out of platform 3 into the engine shed. A scream comes from one of the freight stock and a Cyber gun is heard. Electricfox watches the train and thinks nothing of it*

*Opens trap-door*

Charlie: Right, that's enough playing chicken for one week.

*As Electricfox sweeps towards the door, he knocks it over knocking Charlie into his den*

Charlie: OW!
Electricfox: Who said that?
Charlie: It;s me! Open the trap door!
Electricfox: What trap door?
Charlie: There a detachable handle hidden under an uneven concrete piece.
Electricfox: Ah yes.
*Electricfox re-opens the trap door*

*walks out of the cafe and towards platform 2. A dustball floats past*.

Tim: Wow, it's pretty quiet out here. And dusty. Where is Derek?

*boards the 10.15 steam excursion to Paignton, hauled by 6024 King Edward I*.

Charlie: "Alright...you drag the safe up to the end of the platform, I'll go get a loco..."
Electricfox: "Why do I have to do all the hard work?!"
Charlie: "Because it was my idea, now shift it!"

*Electricfox drags the safe a short way, then spots a trolley, he lifts the safe onto the trolley and drags it down the platform, meeting Charlie who has brought a Class 90 down from the depot.*

Electricfox: "A class 90....you brought...a Class 90..."
Charlie: "Yeah...it's got plenty of horsepower on it!"
Electricfox: "Yes...but...oh, never mind, come on...let's jam this safe in the ground and get a chain around the door handle!"

*The chain and safe are rigged up and Charlie gets into the cab of the Class 90.*

Electricfox: "Alright Charlie, let 'er rip!"

*The Class 90 surges forward, the chain goes taut, there's a loud creaking noise and then with a crash, the bodywork of the Class 90 slides off whilst the chassis and engine surge off down the main line.*

Electricfox: "Yes...they call those things Skodas for a reason...I'll go get the semtex..."

*Detaches the rope from what the remains of the loco then starts pulling the safe into where we found it inside the cafe*

Electricfox: Right... I've got the semtex. Where you takin' the safe?
Charlie: Back to the steel chamber we found it.

*Begins towing it*

*Electricfox walks out onto platform two and looks up at the OHLE*

Electricfox: "If BR pay for the OHLE...I wonder if..."

*Balowski walks up.*

Balowski: "Greetings Comrade ElectricalPorpoise!"
Electricfox: "It's...oh, why do I bother? Hello Balowski!"
Balowski: "I see the American spies have kidnapped Comrade Chef and Comrade Pepperpot and sabotaged our power supply!"
Electricfox: "Well, you were going well until you started talking about American spies..."
Balowski: "I warned them to be careful! I warned Comrade Derek to look out for the Americans...but they didn't listen...I could have saved them...I could-"
Electricfox: "Yes, yes, yes, very good...but suppose for one minute...and this may sound crazy to you...but suppose American spies were not involved..."
Balowski: "Pah...this is crazy talk..."
Electricfox: "And suppose still further...that the reason we have no power is because no-one paid the electricity bill..."
Balowski: "This is common problem in the motherland...but we steal electricity from other supplies..."
Electricfox: "Exactly!!"
Balowski: "But if the American spies find out..."
Electricfox: "Ok...let's just imagine, for one moment, a world without an American spy on every corner...ok?"
Balowski: "Soviet Paradise!"
Electricfox: "Excellent...and in this Soviet Paradise, I need a transformer to turn 25kV into 240V, now you guys invented the Alternating Current so you must have some kind of electrical device?"
Balowski: "Comrade! This is the First Bad Russian Accent Brigade! We are ready for anything!"
Electricfox: "Excellant! Now can you bring it to the platform so we can rig it up?"
Balowski: "At once Comrade DieselCat!"
Electricfox: "It's...oh never mind..."

*Having pulled all 9 knives out of Tim, Charlie walks out a sunlit (well, sort of) platform to see Electricfox impatiently tapping his left foot as Balowski tugs some alternating power converted down the main road*

Charlie: What have you got planned?
Electricfox: We're going to attempt to convert the 25Kv into voltage for the cafe.
Charlie: But I'm fine using a microphone for train announcements. And besides, do you want to get us in more trouble than usual?
Electricfox: How exactly?
Charlie: We'll be charged with bringing the network to a standstill.
Electricfox: We're still negotiating a charge settlement for the last time we bought the railway network to a standstill.
Charlie: When was that?
Electricfox: A few days ago, when we managed to loosen a river bank to the north of the station which created tailbacks on the ECML as far north as York.
Charlie: I thought that was Newcastle?
Electricfox: No, that was the bird flu outbreak. It also stretched to Carlisle, Chester, Leiecester Central, Derby and all London termini served from here.
Charlie: Oh yeah.

*Tim walks out, as Charlie walks to a bench with a mobile phone out*

Charlie: *mumbles something into a mobile phone*
Tim: I wonder what he's on about...
Electricfox: Nothing, probably. Anyway... *talking into a walkie talkie*... Balowski, you got that generator?
Balowski: *Walkie Talkie* Nyet, komrade NuclearFish.
Electricfox: That's the furthest you've ever gone from the real name, you numbnut! Anyway, where are you?
Balowski: *Wakie Talkie* I am currently approaching the main concourse, komrade.
Electricfox: Right. Where are you exactly?
Balowski *Walkie Talkie* The car park, komrade.
Electricfox: Okay.

*Balowski tries to pull the generator through the ticket barrier, and sets off the security alarms*

Electricfox: How are they going off?
Tim: I think that's paid for the BTP.
Electricfox: Right...

*A Class 87 buzzes into the platform on a Euston - Manchester express while a Class 86 whistles through on a southbound freightliner*

Tim: I'm starting to think this is a very bad idea...
Charlie: You would be right.

*Electricfox puts on a pair of heavy duty rubber gloves and climbs up part of the OHLE.*

Electricfox: (To no-one in particular) "Don't try this at home kids...seriously!"
Balowski: "Who are you talking to Komrade?"
Electricfox: "Just any stupid kids who happen to see this and want to try climbing OHLE."
Balowski: "That would just be stupid."
Electricfox: "Yup...and thanks for the vote of confidence."

*Electricfox takes the pair of large crocodile clips and attaches them to the correct cables before climbing down carefully.*

Electricfox: "Okay Balowski, switch the transformer on and put it to the correct settings."
Balowski: "Very good comrade Firefox."
Electricfox: "So close..."

*Balowski flicks some switches and moves some dials around.*

Balowski: "It's been a while since I've used this sort of equipment..."
Electricfox: "Now you tell me?!!"
Balowski: "There we are comrades!"
Electricfox: (Calling up the platform) "Do the lights work Charlie?!"
Charlie: (By the cafe) "Yeah!!"
Electricfox: "Well...congratulations Balowski...this may well be the first thing you've ever done right!"
Balowski: "But of course it is done right Comrade, it is done the Soviet way!"
Electricfox: "Yup...now I'd better signal out that Class 87....be right back!"

*Electricfox runs up to the signalbox...a few seconds later the light at the end of platform two goes to green. Electricfox enters again.*

Electricfox: "Why hasn't it gone? And...what's that smell?"
Balowski: "I believe your traction unit may be on fire Comrade...."
Electricfox: "You what?!"

*Electricfox notices the plume of smoke starting to arise from the engine room.*

Electricfox: "Oh god...Charlie!! Get a blue fire extinguisher!!"

*Electricfox then notices a plume of smoke from the Class 86 which has ground to a halt just up the line.*

Electricfox: "Oh...crud...Charlie!! Better make that several extinguishers!"
