*Matt awakes to find himself lying under a foot of dust.*

Matt: URGH!

*He leaps up*

Matt: What happened? And why are there sculptures of daleks everywhere? Did I go mad for a few months?

*He looks around.*

Matt: Never a dalek around to clean up when you need one... DEREK!!!

*A Roman horse-pulled chariot carrying the luggage passes the cafe window in time for 17:02 to Liverpool. Meanwhile a flock of pteryodactls flies over the station heading towards Scratchwood Town, HG Wells is plugging 'War of the Worlds' on TV and Elvis Presley has just announced a show at Wembley Stadium.*

Charlie: Dude has time just eaten itself?

*A crack in time opens in the cafe and starts to draw in everything around it.*

Matt: Well that ain't good...

Charlie: Nope.

*Derek temporal shifts into the room.*

Derek: PUNY HUMANS!

Electricfox: DEREK?!

Matt: Where the HELL have you been?!

Derek: I was trapped in the void, then travelled through time in order to escape!

Matt: Ah, so you were bunking off...

Derek: I ended up in the past where I accidentally created a time paradox! This has unravelled the fabric of the space-time continum and will soon destroy the entire universe!

Electricfox: Well that explains why the entire of history just showed up outside... what can we do to stop it?

Derek: We must take a leap of faith!

Electricfox: Excuse me?

Derek: I have downloaded a template of the original universe and stored it within my data core! If I enter the crack and concentrate hard enough, I will kick start a second big bang, which will revert the universe to its original form!

Electricfox: Derek, you'll never do it! You need the mental energy of at least... um... well two others ought to do it, but the more the better...

Matt: Well I don't fancy waiting around to be erased! I'll take the chance! Who's with me?!

*The staff stand together in front of the crack.*

Electricfox: Now remember, concentrate hard. Everything about Scratchwood you remember, concentrate on it, think of it... because once we enter that crack, you'll need to really remember.

Matt: What happens if we don't remember hard enough?

Electricfox: The universe ceases to exist.

Matt: Fair enough. No pressure then.

Derek: It is time! Enter the crack nooooow!

*The staff enter the crack and wink out of existence. Will they discover a brave new world on the other side? We'll see...*
